06 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
07 - Salt and pepper to taste

08 - 24 black olive slices for eyes
09 - 24 small capers for decoration
10 - 1 small carrot, peeled and finely diced for optional star points
# Method:
01 - Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut star shapes from each bread slice to yield 24 stars.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chopped chives, salt, and pepper until well blended.
03 - Spread a generous spoonful of the tuna mixture on half of the bread stars.
04 - Place remaining bread stars on top to form sandwiches.
05 - Press two olive slices onto one point of each sandwich to create eyes; place a caper in the center of each olive slice.
06 - Enhance star points with small diced carrot pieces for detail.
07 - Arrange sandwiches on a platter and serve chilled.
